Stairs

Traditional Symbolism

Stairs appear throughout mythology as a metaphor for ascension and descent which can be seen from Jacob’s Ladder in Abrahamic texts, like the Tibetan “stairway to enlightenment,” or the Greek underworld’s decription of the  downward passages.

Psychological Interpretation

Stairs are associated with progress and regression cycles, mirroring growth, healing, or confrontation. Going upward often accompanies motivation and self-development; going downward appears when the psyche revisits unresolved emotions.

Life Reflection

AT this stage, you may be moving through a personal transition. You are progressing, pausing, or revisiting unresolved emotions. This dream often indicates that the mind is trying to understand where you are on your path and what direction you want to take next.
